This is the glow plug Arc-Wing Arcopter VTOL Dr. Bertelsen built in 1957. It is a vertical take-off vehicle.

This model represents his first endeavors in the field of air cushion technology. Dr. Bertelsen hopes to complete his work on
the VTOL someday.

The Aeromobile 35-B, one of the earliest of Dr. Bertelsen's air cushion vehicles was the cover story (with the inventor as the pilot) for the July, 1959 edition of Popular Science magazine.

The Aeromobile 72 in 1959, with Dr. Bertelsen once again as pilot.

It improved on the power of the A-35B, with a 72 h.p. engine.

Prince Akahito of Japan viewing the Aeromobile 200-2 at the Tokyo International Trade Fair on 1962. 

This is the vehicle that was subsequently shown in New Delhi, Zagreb and Turin.
