Arc-Wing Arcopter VTOL Dr. Bertelsen built in 1957. It is a vertical take-off
vehicle.
This model represents his first endeavors in the field
of air cushion technology. Dr. Bertelsen hopes to complete his work on

| The Aeromobile 35-B, one of the
earliest of Dr. Bertelsen's air cushion vehicles was the cover story (with
the inventor as the pilot) for the July, 1959 edition of Popular Science
magazine.
