This is the glow plug
Arc-Wing Arcopter VTOL Dr. Bertelsen built in 1957. It is a vertical take-off
vehicle.
This model represents his first endeavors in the field
of air cushion technology. Dr. Bertelsen hopes to complete his work on

The Aeromobile 35-B, one of the
earliest of Dr. Bertelsen's air cushion vehicles was the cover story (with
the inventor as the pilot) for the July, 1959 edition of Popular Science
magazine.

It improved on the power of the A-35B, with a 72 h.p. engine. |
