This shows the "Boiler Plate" 24" arcopter VTOL model in a stand.  This was work done for the Univ of Illinois testing of the Arcopter's validity. This is the angled view of the 12" arcopter VTOL model flown in 1957, showing the propeller and the acryllic arc wing.
